CS refers to Composite Score and its made of different Profile Components, CAT Performance, GDPI Performance etc. It’s calculated as per official CS calculation criteria of each Institution. Institutions use this CS to evaluate candidates perfomance among available pool of candidates before making decision for GDPI Calls/Admission Offer.
Minimum CAT Percentile above refers to Minimum CAT percentile of any candidate who got admission offer. You need to note that your CAT score is not the sole determining factor during Admission, Your academic Profile, Achievements, Workex and Performance in GDPI influences your final CS considered for Admission.
It depends on Institutions admission criteria. Some Institutions use CS based shortlisting for their WAT-PI round while some Institutions shortlist candidates subject to fulfilling of set sectional and CAT percentile cutoffs by them.
Each Institution Independently decide their own Admission criteria each year and based on it they proceed with GDPI calls and final Admission Offers.
Yes, Candidates need to file separate Applications each year to be considered eligible for Admissions. Do note that they might have an eligibility criteria, go through it before filling your Application.
Eligiblity cutoffs are the sectional and total CAT percentile cutoffs that a candidate needs to cross to become eligible for further considerations. Some institutions don’t have CS based GDPI shortlisting, they choose candidates for PI based on Eligibility cutoffs. (There are other conditions to be fulfilled by any candidate to be eligible for GDPI considerations and failing to fulfil them might result in disqualification)

Hi, hope you are doing well. Since you haven’t mentioned any target colleges, Let’s take CAP into consideration. You can expect baby IIMs in the first few lists with a very good PI performance and new IIMs seems little difficult but you might get waitlisted for them.

Great CAT score but an academic profile and workex as above might not get you a convert right in the merit list. Keeping in mind that Udaipur also rejects candidates, I think you can convert it and you have good chances of getting admission offers from Trichy, Raipur etc. Thanks 👍

Is the 53.16 CS cut off the lowest on the first merit list? Or is it lowest cs after all waitlist etc is said and done?
It is the lowest cutoff.
Still haven’t mentioned if it’s the lowest cs of the merit list or after the final waitlists. In some of the colleges both have been mentioned separately (in your posts).
As mentioned earlier it’s lowest cutoff and some institutions provide separate numbers for min CS and for them it’s available.

With a good PI score you can expect IIM BG newer programs, Sambalpur,Jammu,Sirmaur etc.
Can i expect iim trichy? also since udaipur is not possible in first merit list .. can i get selected in other round of merit lists of iim udaipur or any top cap college say raipur for eg or trichy>?
For a category applicant, selection depends on how other candidates are performing. You can expect a convert but not in the first few lists unless you had an exceptional PI performance. Thanks👍

One thing to note is that at the end it’s the respective institutions who decide the cutoffs and select candidates for admission. In anticipation people calculate their CS to find what they can expect, Our calculator is a tool to simplify and help users get the numbers without the hassle of going to multiple pages and criteria documents. I would say wait till they release results for 24-26, there are several variables beyond scope of the calculator.
With profile as above Udaipur seems like a probable convert since they take your raw score into consideration.

Hi, I had a gen waitlist number 7 when the results came out (Udaipur). I was considering it a direct convert based on the historical data but the list has moved 0 in the 2 subsequent lists. Is there any rti data available on the first list offers given this time around? I have filed an rti but it’ll probably take a long time for it to be answered.
Hi Satyam, please refer to IIM Udaipur 2023-25 statistics for waitlist related data. Using last years numbers as a refference one can very well expect a convert at waitlist number 7. Just wait for a while it will move. Thanks 👍
Yes I was hoping for an easy convert but after two 0 movements somebody from the media comm team told me that they gave 2000+ calls this year. This seems to justify the movement as well. I’m not sure if it’ll move at all (Kashipur and Raipur also had 0 movement last year and even Ranchi has no movement this year). I’ve also filed an rti but I haven’t received any reply yet.
Do let me know if you get this years rti data (first merit offers)
