FAQ
CS refers to Composite Score and its made of different Profile Components, CAT Performance, GDPI Performance etc. It’s calculated as per official CS calculation criteria of each Institution. Institutions use this CS to evaluate candidates perfomance among available pool of candidates before making decision for GDPI Calls/Admission Offer.
Minimum CAT Percentile above refers to Minimum CAT percentile of any candidate who got admission offer. You need to note that your CAT score is not the sole determining factor during Admission, Your academic Profile, Achievements, Workex and Performance in GDPI influences your final CS considered for Admission.
It depends on Institutions admission criteria. Some Institutions use CS based shortlisting for their WAT-PI round while some Institutions shortlist candidates subject to fulfilling of set sectional and CAT percentile cutoffs by them.
Each Institution Independently decide their own Admission criteria each year and based on it they proceed with GDPI calls and final Admission Offers.
Yes, Candidates need to file separate Applications each year to be considered eligible for Admissions. Do note that they might have an eligibility criteria, go through it before filling your Application.
Eligiblity cutoffs are the sectional and total CAT percentile cutoffs that a candidate needs to cross to become eligible for further considerations. Some institutions don’t have CS based GDPI shortlisting, they choose candidates for PI based on Eligibility cutoffs. (There are other conditions to be fulfilled by any candidate to be eligible for GDPI considerations and failing to fulfil them might result in disqualification)

Nice to hear from you, For core PGP 24-26 it might get little difficult to covert without an exceptional GDPI performance with academic profile as above. Prepare well for GDPI to maximise score as well as convert chances. She might have better chances at PGP LSM program, do look into it to learn more. Write back if you need more help. 👍
How they calculate cat index score I mean how they assign 35 percent for example if I have 50 marks so directly 35 percent or 50/198 then 35 percent

Sir one more thing 10% is alloted to resume writing so this works I mean is 10% means 10 marks and if yes then how to score maxium in this section
Actually what they mean by 10% is a score out of 10 considering a maximum possible score of 100 with various weightage defined to components like Score, Academics, GDPI, Workex etc. Regarding resume score, they have their own subjective way of evaluating it and it’s known to them only. But a candidate should always present his/her transcript in a way to provide maximum exposure to achievements etc to gain attention during PI. Keep working hard for GDPI to maximise performance and your sister will do great. 👍

Hi Jatin, hope you are doing well. Kindly note that the official statistics provided didn’t contain any clear data regarding absolute numbers of candidates getting a particular score in PI. But, If we analyze the data it can be deduced that to get a 20 out of 25 i.e 80 percent or more in PI score and it’s a difficult thing to achieve. It’s also clear that candidates have gotten upto 100 percent in PI, hence an excellent PI can get you your desired score and converts.
