FAQ

CS refers to Composite Score and its made of different Profile Components, CAT Performance, GDPI Performance etc. It’s calculated as per official CS calculation criteria of each Institution. Institutions use this CS to evaluate candidates perfomance among available pool of candidates before making decision for GDPI Calls/Admission Offer.

Minimum CAT Percentile above refers to Minimum CAT percentile of any candidate who got admission offer. You need to note that your CAT score is not the sole determining factor during Admission, Your academic Profile, Achievements, Workex and Performance in GDPI influences your final CS considered for Admission.

Eligiblity cutoffs are the sectional and total CAT percentile cutoffs that a candidate needs to cross to become eligible for further considerations. Some institutions don’t have CS based GDPI shortlisting, they choose candidates for PI based on Eligibility cutoffs. 2. How is it possible that IIM BUDDY and AZUCATION by Amiya Sir are showing different RTI data for the batch of 2023-25 PGP BA IIM Kashipur, how can we believe that this data published in this website is the actual RTI data of the session 2023-25?

    1. Hi Jishnu, Hope you are doing well. I have seen your reference video and I would like to share a link to my orignal document with replies as requested by me for Kashipur BA 23-25, Do read the nature of questions/queries carefully and you will realise that data in both cases are different in nature. For example, In the video the query answers to “Minimum/Maximum CS score among shortlisted candidates” but at IIMbuddy you will find CS Cutoffs for both Shortlist and admissions respectively alongwith Highest CS of any candidate with admission offer (Please Note “With admission Offer”). I think this will help you get a clear idea and resolve your query. You can find the actual reply here ( IIM Kashipur BA 23-25 )
      Thanks 👍

      1. In the video there is data for the lowest composite score of the admission offered, that data is not matching with the data provided by you, check the data at 10:46 of the video. There it is given the finally shortlist listed cs for 2023-25, I think that is the lowest score at which the admission offer was given to the last eligible candidate

        1. I think you are referring to video where it shows general shortlisting Cs minimum at 63.57. As stated at IIMbuddy this number refers to CS cutoff for PI shortlist (this is also visible in original reply). I hope this clears your query. Do keep your PI preparations going to maximise your convert chances. Thanks 👍

          1. In that video only if you go to the time frame 10:46, there you will see that the lowest composite score of the candidate with admission offer. That data is not matching with you

  3. My CS is 44.376 (SC male) can i get shortlisted and if yes then what will be my chances of converting it ?

  4. I have 70.74 % in graduation. Will it be considered in the ‘above 70-75’ range or ‘above 60-70’ range?

    1. Kindly refer to the previous waitlist movement stats for refference. Although movements each year are very dynamic in nature and varies from previous years but looking at past trends would help you gain some insights about what to expect. I hope this clears your query. Thanks 👍
